Cherished Memories
Playing with a pet, sharing a cup of coffee with a friend, making corn on the cob and sliced tomatoes are a few of the many images that we associate with our Cherished Memories Unit.

We take pride in providing quality and compassionate care in a home-like setting within a spiritual environment. Our mission is to maintain the highest level of self esteem and dignity of our residents. We strive to enrich our residents' social, cognitive, and physical well-being.

Our specialized programs are provided by nursing and activity staff in conjunction with housekeeping, maintenance, dining services, and administrative staff who are specially trained in dementia care.
 

These programs include:

• Music Therapy
• Country Outings
• Activity focused nursing care
• Familiar activities centered around each individual resident's normal day to day routines
• Low-level sensory awareness in small groups
• Activities to help residents manage stressful situations
• Dining club activities for all three meals in a dining room filled with natural light
